The contact form stopped sending months ago

Nobody gets an alert when that happens. The form still says thank you, the visitor still leaves happy, and the email never arrives. We find one in roughly a third of the sites we audit, and the owner never knew.

That's the shape most website problems take here. Not a redesign question — a slow leak nobody is measuring.

Every other channel you pay for ends at the same place. SEO sends people to the site. Ads send people to the site. Social sends people to the site. If it takes six seconds to load on a phone, you're paying full price for traffic and collecting a fraction of it — and the invoice from the ad platform looks exactly the same either way.

That's why we don't start these projects with a design conversation. We start by measuring what the current site is doing: what it costs to load on a real phone on a real connection, whether search engines can reach the pages you care about, where people leave, and which forms and tracking still work. Half the time the answer isn't a new website at all.

When a rebuild is the right call, we build for the next five years rather than the launch photo: clean code, few dependencies, a CMS your team can actually use, and a structure that gives SEO something to work with instead of something to work around.

Before anything gets quoted

Four honest answers, and one of them is cheap

An agency paid to build websites has an obvious incentive to conclude that you need a new website. We'd rather be straight about that than pretend the incentive isn't there. So we audit first and tell you which of these four you're actually looking at — including the one where we bill you the least.

Optimize The structure is sound and the site is just slow, bloated or badly configured. Faster hosting, image and script cleanup, fewer plugins. Weeks, not months. Cheapest fix
Rebuild The design still holds up but the code underneath doesn't. We keep the look and the content, and replace what's rotting behind it.
Redesign The site works but doesn't convert, or it looks like the year it was built. New experience and conversion paths on a foundation worth keeping.
Replatform The platform itself is the problem — a page builder you can't escape, or a CMS nobody on your team can use. The biggest project, and the last resort. Only when justified

What's Included

What goes into the build

Performance

We optimize for how the site feels on a mid-range phone on a normal connection, not for a perfect score in a testing tool — those two goals stop agreeing surprisingly early. Image formats and sizing, script and stylesheet weight, caching, hosting configuration, and the three Core Web Vitals measured on mobile, where your traffic actually is.

SEO-ready structure

Built in from the first sitemap rather than added afterwards: clean URLs, one clear heading hierarchy per page, internal linking that connects service and location pages, schema markup, and hreflang done properly if the site is bilingual. Retrofitting this into a finished site costs more than doing it on day one.

Conversion paths

One obvious next action per page, forms that ask for what you need and nothing more, a phone number that's tappable on mobile, and trust signals where the hesitation actually happens. Every extra field in a form costs you submissions — we'd rather you get the call and ask the rest of the questions yourself.

WordPress cleanup

Most WordPress sites don't get slow, they accumulate: thirty plugins where eight would do, three of them doing the same job, a theme loading assets for features you never used. We remove what isn't earning its weight, resolve conflicts, clean the database and leave something your team can update without calling anyone.

Tracking that works

Analytics, conversion events, call tracking and form notifications set up and then verified by actually submitting the form and watching it arrive. It sounds obvious. It is also the single most common thing we find broken, and every marketing decision made on top of broken tracking is a guess.

Maintenance

Updates, backups, security patches and uptime monitoring, plus a monthly check that the forms still send. A site is never finished — browsers change, plugins go unmaintained, and the gap between a small fix and an emergency is usually just the time nobody was looking.

Questions

What Las Vegas business owners ask us

How much does a website cost?

The honest answer is that it depends on the audit, which is why we do that first. What drives the number: how many pages, whether you need custom functionality or integrations, whether content and photography exist already, and how much technical debt is being carried over. A five-page site for a local service and a multi-location site with online booking are different projects by an order of magnitude, and any firm quote before looking at the current site is a guess dressed up as a price.

How long does a project take?

An optimization pass runs two to four weeks. A rebuild or redesign of a typical business site runs six to twelve. The variable that moves the date most isn't development — it's content and approvals. Projects stall waiting on copy, photos and sign-off far more often than on code, so we agree those deadlines with you upfront.

Will I lose my Google rankings in a redesign?

Not if the migration is handled properly, and this is the single most common way redesigns go wrong. Every old URL needs to redirect to its real equivalent — not all of them to the homepage, which is the mistake that erases years of rankings overnight. We map redirects before launch, keep the content that was earning traffic, and watch Search Console closely for the first few weeks after.

Can I update the site myself afterwards?

That's the intent. We build so that text, images, blog posts and service pages are editable by someone non-technical, and we walk your team through it before handover. Structural changes still need us, but you shouldn't have to file a ticket to fix a typo or update your hours.

Do I need a bilingual site in Las Vegas?

For most local businesses here, it pays for itself. Roughly a third of Clark County is Hispanic and competition for Spanish-language searches is a fraction of the English equivalent. Technically it needs separate URLs per language and reciprocal hreflang tags, not a browser translation widget — those get ignored by search engines entirely, so you get the cost without the traffic.

Who owns the site when we're done?

You do — domain, hosting, code, content and every credential, all registered in your name from the start. No proprietary platform you can't leave, and no license that stops working when the relationship does. If you move to another agency, you hand them the logins and they get to work.
